Abstract

This study entitled “Assessing the Level of Internship Skills among BSOA Interns at Tangub City Global College,” with the total respondents of 75 interns specifically identified which internship skill variables received the lowest results. The quantitative descriptive research design and census sampling were employed. The findings revealed that the respondents demonstrated the high level of internship skills particularly in communication, teamwork, cognitive and technical, which were all interpreted as Agree. Meanwhile, among the five internship skills, problem-solving had received the lowest level and were interpreted as Disagree, indicated for further skill enhancement especially in this area. Based on the findings, this study was suggested that BSOA interns should focus more on practical learning activities, training interventions and workplace experiences which involved problem-solving skills, These given activities helped to enhanced the interns’ ability in handling office–related issues, generates effective solutions and applied appropriate problem-solving strategies, which were enable them to become more prepared for the future employment.
